Matthew R. Crowley

Attorney Matthew Crowley has more than 17 years of experience as a criminal and traffic defense attorney in Northern Virginia. After graduating from American University’s Washington College in 2003, he has worked for such prominent regional firms as Davies, Barrell, Will, Lewellyn, and Edwards PLC, Price Benowitz, LLP, and most recently, has worked as managing partner for the Criminal Division of Robinson Law, PLLC in Fairfax, VA.

During his tenure as managing partner of Robinson Law’s Criminal Division, it became one of the most successful and respected Criminal Defense Firms in the Northern Virginia area.

Matthew was recognized as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in 2015 and 2016, is peer-reviewed on Martindale Hubble, has a 10.0 out of 10.0 rating on Avvo, and received the Client’s Choice Award from Avvo each year beginning in 2015 to present. Matthew has successfully tried hundreds of cases at every level of Virginia State Courts and has trained numerous young attorneys over his career, to include recruiting and mentoring his now partner Seth Peritz.

In 2020, Matthew and Seth co-founded Crowley Peritz PLLC, to continue their professional association and pursue their shared vision of providing the highest level of representation in the courtroom and the highest level of customer service outside of it.
